St. Bernadette of Lourdes was Bernadette Soubirous
To read more about her and to see photos taken of her before & after death visit these sites:
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernadette_Soubirous
AND
http://www.catholicpilgrims.com/lourdes/ba_bernadette_intro.htm
.
At this second site, if you wait a few minutes for things to load, you can not only see a recent photo of her but one taken at the time of her death in 1879....nearly 130 years ago!

Go to either Yahoo or Google Search, click on IMAGES, type in what you want to see (Saint Bernadette of Lourdes), then click Search. Yahoo alone has over 10 pages of pictures of her statues and the lady herself that you can right click on the image, and choose to SAVE PICTURE AS... to the folder My Pictures on your computer. Give the picture a name so you can find it later, and then when you want to use it, just click to print it out (set your printer settings to Best, so there will be no lines, etc. on the pictures). I have found it is best to save those marked as jpeg (or jpg) images. I don't know about your computer, but mine will not save gif images so I can open them up later. So far, I have about 750 pictures saved to my computer for use on greeting cards, my desktop image, etc.

Search St. Bernadette on Widepeikia they have pictures of her there. At the very end of the article is a picture of her as she now is, incorruptible, lying in her glass coffin.
