Answer to your science teacher: The sea of Galilee does not freeze over in the winter, especially not with the roaring waves mentioned in the Bible at the time Christ walked on water. Also, if this is really a question for science class, get your teacher fired for violating the Separation of Church and State.

Wasn't there something about him owning a pair of "special water walking shoes and a sky hook." ??? ... and knowing where the rocks were closest to the surface ???
I really don't think it was the seasonal thing -- you know, where the water turns to ice and anyone can walk on it -- but if it was, I'll bet he had a pair of double-runner skates tucked away somewhere that nobody else knew about. Daffy duck did that in a cartoon once and I'll bet Jesus had the same daffy idea.
(If your going to believe in C R A P... at least make it interesting.)

Haha... That would be a scientific attempt to reconcile Christianity with common sense. Unfortunately, it's not very likely because water in Palestine never freezes in the winter. Especially not salty water of the Sea of Galilee.

nicely there became this one saint who landed on a dock in some Aegean port and started preaching the stable information, however the human beings did no longer hear to him, so the saintly individual, no longer desirous to enable a solid sermon bypass to waste, and not desirous to make the human beings offended by insisting, began preaching in the direction of the sea. apparently, each and all the fish began swimming as much as him desirous to hearken to his words. human beings started noticing this phenomena and commenced truly listening to what the old guy had to assert. Fish are no longer as dumb as we expect of. God likes to lead them to do stuff.

Why do you have a question in science class asking about a fairy tale character? That's not very good science they are teaching you.

It is because gravity is only theory the truth is it's God who holds everything in place If it wasn't for God holding him in place and gravity was real he would have sunk and drowned.
