I have asked this question some time before and I want some more answers from who are present now.
I want everybody to answer irrespective of religion or its teachings.
For a woman, If some one rapes you and the culprit is caught. You are made a judge, you have freedom to punish him however you want. What will be you punishment to him?
For men, If some one rapes your wife/sister/fiancee/any close relative. And the culprit is caught. You are made a judge, you have freedom to punish him however you want. What will be you punishment to him?

I get someone to take pliers and rip his skin off, one strip at a time. If he went unconscious they people who were tearing his skin off would wait until he regained consciousness.

I'd execute him. Rape involves a complete disregard of human rights, why should I allow someone with no respect for human rights to live? They'll probably commit more crimes in the future. Besides, rape is an absolute corruption of sex, it takes something meant to be used in love in marriage and uses it as a weapon of power and control. This is inexcusable, and he should be executed.
If you're asking me to answer without regard to what God says, I can't do that, if I love God I must always submit to His authority and Law.

When a woman is raped a part of her dies. Her dignity if nothing else. So I would make the punishment fit the crime. I would put him to death.

I will award him the punishment to be hanged till death, in a public square.Before doing so, I will ensure that accusation and evidences produced are fully correct.

If convicted in a court of law, then cut it off so he never rapes again.

Well I would want him to spend his time in Jail suffering so that he doesn't attack again. And I wouldn't put him in a modern prison where he gets to watch TV.

Five years in prison, and a registered sex offender. For a second offense, life in prison.

If I were being impartial, if it were possible for me to remain so, I would see to it that he would never rape someone again.
I would not physically harm him, as retaliation is a lower form of intelligence, but I would make him feel the anguish he deserves to feel.
If I couldn't stay impartial, I would harm him grievously.

I have often though castration or a lobotomy. Either of those or perhaps death.
