multi-colored lights are really pretty.and it also is pretty when you use both little lights and the old looking big bulb multi-colored lights together.

We alternate every other year. My husband and daughter love colored lights, I just prefer clear. This year we did the clear lights and used only red, cream and gold ornaments ... it was beautiful! Next year though we plan on doing something a little different. We want to do clear lights again and use only white and light blue ornaments. I do think your color (red and white) would be equally beautiful but I can understand wanting a change.

The best color to put on a christmas tree is
your favorite color. Don't put all white , it's going to be too boring.

I think purple lights are beautiful on a Christmas tree. You can buy purple lights at Halloween time. (along with the orange). I put purple lights that I purchased at halloween time on my Christmas tree with purple bows and a purple tree skirt. It all depends on what colors you like. I have done my tree in blue and white lights with blue and silver ornaments and it looked good too.

I agree with Mom 0f 3 = purple lights bought after Halloween. My living room smaller tree is mixed white & purple lights with lavender & silver ornaments. Kids did'nt want to help decorate the tree so they got what I like- purple. Big family room tree is multi colored lights with all the "works"

Multi colored lights are for Christmas!... Blue lights are for Hanukkah....( if you ever notice Jewish houses always put blue lights out) Just.White lights are just boring. But all the "upper crusty" people seem to think they are classy. All the "classic" Christmas claymation specials always have Mluti-colored lights on the tree.....And it is more fun looking for kids!

I have colored lights. We have kids and it makes it more colorful
Try the old fashioned bubble lights(Walmart has them)
They bubble inside when the get warm and are pretty. Green, red and yellow.

It is whatever you like. No one can tell you what looks best because you have your own sense of color and style. I personally like multicolored trees and lights.

i personally like all colors,red,green,blue,white, yellow, but you may not,take a trip to walmart find something you like and use it,please dont take this as a smart-a-- answer but you gotta be the one thats happy with it its your tree......good luck....and merry Christmas!!!
