We guys think friends and socializing as important as family and tend to not get tied into family matters going out into the world more as a whole anyway

Talk to each other. If you discuss things you will no more about how she works and what she wants from the relationship. Men and women are different but women are different from other women too. If you get to know her well and think of how she feels about things then you will know what is important to her and what her priorities are likely to be. And the same with her to you.

Not every one woman has the same priorities, so it's best to listen to them one at a time.
Your partner tried to let you know that meeting her parents was important and you knew that really, you just chose to put your own needs first.
Now you are suffering the consequences because she is mad with you because she made an arrangement for the pair of you which was important to her, and you didn't pay enough attention to it. It would have been better to say no from the start, so as to avoid disappointment for her.
Next time listen better that's all - it's all about communication. She doesn't expect you to be a mind reader just a little bit more sensitive about what she wants from time to time.
We all have to do things for our partner above our own needs sometimes, I'm sure there will be an occasion when she has to do the same for you.

every girl is different. every girl likes all kinds of qualitie's in guys, were all different. if u hav a group of friends dat r girls go hang out with them u'll learn alot believe me my bestie's a guy n wen i hang out with him n his friends i learn a lot it's even better den school hehe.

read girls magizines,
ask ur mom,
hang out with girls, you'll pick up stuff along the way
be nice
