No. Karma is a pagan doctrine, which cannot be associated with Christianity.

Here's one Scripture that denies the concept of "Karma:"

"Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)

Karma is associated with Reincarnation, which, if you are a Christian, cannot be true, since a person dies and then faces judgment. From there, you either enter into God's Kingdom, or Hell.

You won't be the first. Karma is not a Christian concept per se, but I think most Christians believe that you "get what's coming to you": the righteous will be rewarded, and the evil will be punished. About the same as Karma without the reincarnation part.

I don't know why you wouldn't. It is actually pretty close to being the same thing as the Christian Theory of Reciprocity.

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12, King James Version.
"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Luke 6:31, King James Version.

Besides Karma or Kama(Pali), as defined by Buddhist tenets, means nothing more than "cause and effect". Everything, from blinking your eyes, to yelling at the top of your lungs has an effect on something. Karma is neither good or bad, it is just the end result of an action. Sometimes the effects are apparent, most other times the results of our actions are so minuscule that they go unnoticed. Other times it may take days, weeks, years or even lifetimes to see the effect that some action has brought.

Christians believe in karma, they just have a different name for it.

Answer: Do onto others as you want to be treated yourself.
Karma is one gets back what they give...
Granny's things come in threes is surprising like the three-fold ancient belief that what you do, good or ill, comes back times three.
Karma, by any name is accepted by most ALL religious sects.

Karma is indicating that you are relying on a power other then the Spirit of God....its a direct insult to the Lord...Jesus is the ONLY power needed for a true Christian!

You can believe anything you want. It's a free world.

However, are you being consistent? I don't believe so. You are askeing about mixing Hinduism with whatever else you believe.

I believe that God watches over us, and sometimes rewards or punishes us, which could be considered like Karma, except this type is a direct consequence.

I believe it is possible. Matthew 17:10-13 and John 9:1-3 seem to imply reincarnation. Galations 6:7 says we reap what we sow.

The truth is that what goes around is what comes around.
Meaning what evil or good someone dishes out to others they will in do time eat of the seed that they planted.
