I have been thining of fostering. I live in Washington, PA. Most likely it would be cats that are best for me. Where is a good place to go? How do you start? Do they fund for the vet vists? Any other helpful advise?

Though of course, pick a group you feel comfortable with.. I've fostered for several groups and there were certainly some I liked a lot better then others..
It's often easiest for people getting into fostering to foster for a no-kill at first..

Most shelters and Humane Socities are in need of foster homes. Go visit one and fill out an application, and get things started.
Know the terms up front...like what to do if illness occurs, who to call, when to bring them back......EVERYTHING should be spelled out!!!!!
Usually you are not responsible for vet bills unless you did not follow the rules.

thats very nice and would take you up,ask vets for bestp laces to offer,they will show you what to do,and food to buy
