It is difficult to deduce what your problem is:

However, as you will appreciate there are many reasons why your computer is running slow:

I have listed the most obvious, some of which you may have already tried but for completeness they are mentioned here.

First of all make sure you do not have any malware in the form of viruses or spyware. Run your anti virus and anti spyware programs in order to clear out any beasts.
If you do not have any protection these are exceptional and available for free:
Anti virus I suggest:

Anti spyware I suggest:

Remove junk & temporary Internet files by running Ccleaner – free for download from:
http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Your hard disk(s) may be fragmented. Windows has a built in defragmentation program but you can download a third party program for free:
http://www.auslogics.com/en/software

Your registry may be cluttered or corrupt. Ccleaner mentioned above also has a registry cleaner but how about downloading another very good free registry cleaner:
http://www.eusing.com

You may have too many programs kicking off at start up. These free downloads allow you to control what applications run at start up:
http://www.glarysoft.com/quick-startup
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

Your hard disk may be getting full. You need at least 15% of free space for it to operate efficiently. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs & remove any applications you no longer use. How about removing all those pictures & music that is filling up your hard drive?

Finally, after you have done all the above may need to upgrade your RAM. So that you get the right type of RAM for your system do a free scan at Crucial to determine your RAM.

Good luck with your quest and I hope these suggestions improve your system.

I suggest you try Mozilla Browser rather than Internet Explorer. You need to scan your registers also or uninstall your anti virus to faster browsing then scan your computer weekly with Kaspersky Antivirus which is much better than any for now. After scanning uninstall it again. Installed antivirus eat up the memory and scan every application you open especially websites with malicious softwares. Well this not so safe to do, but if you're wanting for faster internet browsing this might be a help.

Did you install any other software after that ? Also make sure that there is no other mcaffee things in your Add/Remove program list.

And if your computer is slow, what you can do is right click on on your task bar and select and select Tast Manager. Then select Process tab and sort process according to CPU, ie click cpu to bring the highest user of cpu at the top and look which application is talking the highest cpu time. But remmember that System Idle Process using more than 90% of cpu in normal conditions. That actually means that your cpu is 90% free actually. So look for others. and list those things here. Then we can recommend you what actions you can take. Additionally, if you c mcaffee in task bar, that means mcaffee is still there.

Tell us the image name and the percentage of cpu for high cpu users then we can give you some solutions.

If you want you can also send this details at sajjad@fingersworks.com

Thanks.

I am sorry to say that you are not the first and I doubt you will be the last with this same issue using McAfee Products.
It appears that when you install McAfee on your computer there are certian files that are placed in your Registry that for a reason I am not smart enough to explain, do in fact slow your computer down.
I personally tried on countless occasions to contact there foreign tech support in an effort to rectify this issue with my own computer. Again, I had NO LUCK at all in fixing this issue even after countless trys. I even kept copies of all of the chats with them in an effort to contact anyone that might help with this issue that might help.
To date my computer is still sluggish because of this issue.
I can only hope that you get behond there tier 3 support to fix your problem, I never could.

1. Go to the Start Menu 2. Click Control Panel 3. Find and press the icon "Add or Remove Programs" 4. In the list shown, find McAfee, click on McAfee, and click the Remove button.
