boxer's to loose,briefs to tight.
i myself prefer boxer-briefs,
they don't bunch and they don't ride.

Doesn't really matter...whatever is more comfy for them. One of my son liked briefs, the other one likes boxers. Let them try on both and let them decide. If wearing boxers, though, teach him how to pull up his pants and boxers at the same time. Otherwise they'll get bunched up and be uncomfortable!

I let my son choose his own underwear, it all comes to comfort and being a woman what do I know about mens comfort ? haha anyways he chose boxers, probably because he has never seen a pair of briefs in his life until he got to choose between the two. He seems very comfy in them and loves his 'big boy' underwear.

My son (3 and potty training) goes back and forth. At home he wears boxer briefs, and at school he wears regular underwear. At home I help him, so his underwear and pants are on straight. At school they encourage him to practice all of toileting on his own, and I find that regular underwear don't get as twisted as boxers when he does it alone.

Our doctors recommend that they wear briefs that are not to tight or too loose.
