In april 06, my friend used clairol hair bleach on my hair, it came teeerrrriibley, all patchy and horrible. the hairdresser then dyed it ginger, then for some reason put highlights in. in july 06, i went to a much better hairdresser, who did this color correction thing, to make it back to mid brown. then from july 06- januray 07, i used semi permentant dark brown dye on my hair, every 6 weeks or so. now, my hair is light-mid brown at the bottom, darkish brown in the middle, and my natural (mid brown) in the roots.
i want to dye it, but it'd have to be at home.
if i use one that says its 70% natural would that be ok? and should i use semi- permenant yeah?
the ends of my hair are soo split, i want to cut it to like shoulder length, would this help with the damage to it? urrrgh help mee!!
what should i do!
im not even sure cutting it would suit me because iv got quite a round face. oh and im 16. sorry this is so long!!!

I looked at the pic and to be honest your hair doesnt look noticeably different colours, home dyes arent the best and a home cut definately isnt. Leave your hair alone the now and save up to go to a hairdressers. Make sure u get a recommendation of a stylist first so you feel comfortable they are going to make a good job of it. Your hair does sound really damaged and changing the colour is only going to make it worse. Why dont u ask for a hair appointment for christmas!

Use a semi-permanent, natural dye. Semi-permanent are much better for hair condition but you can find ones that specifically say they won't leave your hair brittle or damaged so look out for those. I reccomend going to the hairdressers and getting your hair cut...that's the only way to get rid of split ends. Condition your hair every time you wash it and use a hair mask once a week. Leave in conditioner can help on the ends of towel dried hair, especially if you blow dry. Hope that helps

I've just been to the hairdressers this week for my 2 monthly cut & colour. Yours seems to be like mine was when I was younger.
I would get it cut professional and then leave it alone. A lot
of people straighten their hair every morning, desperate to be fashionable. Yours seems to be straight, enjoy it !
