This week I've been under a lot of stress and have only slept about 6 hours per night...The previous night I only slept five hours. Yesterday when I came home from school I fell asleep on the couch because I was so tired..when i woke up maybe two hours later, I had a horrible migraine and felt kind of dizzy or confused/tired. Today, after having slept about nine hours (I woke up on my own) I feel that my neck and leg muscles are really sore? Why is this? Is it because of not enough sleep, stress or the migraine..? And the sore muscles are not because of hard exercise because I haven't had time to go to the gym in about a week..

I'm a 17-year old girl.

You are exhausted. Get out a heating pad and lay it on the pillow, not a thick puffy one. If you do not have a heating pad, dampen a hand towel and microwave it for 40 seconds, slip it into a zip lock bag then lay down flat on it so the back of your head neck and shoulders are on it. On low. This will relax the muscles and help the headache. Take 2 Excedrin or 2 aspirin first. Have a pleasant nap. You need it.

Lay flat and keep you neck straight. Stress can really make you sick. Being sick over the Holidays would be miserable.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.

I tried to plug my entire phone into the outlet to charge it, I made my fiance late for work like 5 times because I would turn the alarm off and not remember I did it, I poured almost a whole gallon of nursery water into a playtex drop in bottle with no liner in it, I didn't realize I was doing it until my feet were wet... and just a few weeks ago I sat down on the couch to eat my cereal only to realize I put tea in it instead of milk, and my son was sleeping all night by then so I don't know what my excuse was for doing that!

Do not worry dear friend as u mentioned it is because of lack of enough sleep.U had been standing up or sitting down for long time your blood circulation faced the problem.
Form time to time lie down & put your feet in a position upper than your body (on a pillow or lean them to a wall).
As you have a lot to do your mucsles had gone to spasm.
We should be careful about our health , take a nap when u feel tired let your body reorganize its system.
We r living to live not to harm ourselves!
Have a bottle of water next to u...drink a lot when u study.
Make sure u get enough food our brain uses more glocose when we study.Dates, nuts,Milk & fresh fruits reduce fatigue & boredom.
Get enough sleep .I am sure u r gone be ok.
