There's this gal that I like but we are just friends (i told her last year but some things might change now).
She showed some interests since then...
a few days we're quiet but today she started by teasing me and conversation...keeps teasing me...although i am quiet with her...and eye contacts...she seemed interested in what i do and just kept teasing me! and once she doodled on my paper w/o my knowledge...and once just robs a paper off my hand and say, "let'see what he says..." and smiles teasingfully...but since yest' her texts for me are short...her texts not so long...but in person she talks more...
But, there's this other guy who likes her (i don't know how she feels) but she and that boy doesn't talk much at school now...she doesn't make attempt to see him...she was like trying to avoid him (once she went up when he was waiting in front of lift) but i do not know if she chatted with him online...in the past sometimes they talk and she responds (seems interested though, but she's friendly to evry1)...a boy who once liked her (but he gave up and now likes her best friend) told me that i'm hopeless...and that other boy is too 'great'...and he also said she's with him (and i strongly doubt it)...but they never talk now (they did a few months ago!)!!!
should i let him let me down? he doesn't know the girl well though...

I say make your move. She sounds like she may be trying to get your attention. I would not listen to all of the rumors that have been going on...the only way to know for sure is make it known to the young lady how you feel.

just enjoy all the attention for now and see where it goes..let go of trying to control it..she may like to tease and just want to be friends. getting all intense like this will make you feel ill. she's just a girl and you have a big life ahead of you
