is it normal for a dad to sleep in the nude with his daughter when she tells him no .. shes 14???????????He says he never did it but hes lying he'd hit me if i got up to leave in the night what to do. im now 28 n ****** in the head HELP

no thats not normal. i think when a child knows the names of all the body parts and knows what they are for it is no longer appropriate to naked infront of them. at 14 you are starting to become interested in boys and dating yourself. i would say that your father did abuse you.

I think it was not normal at all, it was obviously abuse even if no sex took place, because (1) it was inappropriate for a parent to do to an adolescent, and (2) you were threatened with violence. I have a friend whose father is a genuine nudist and she has seen him naked many times (to her chagrin) but that does not seem at all like your situation. I suggest you seek counseling to help deal with the feelings you still have about it.

no that isnt normal thats considered sexual abuse! do you watch Law and Order SVU? if not you should. you can press charges if you think there is enough evidence. but no that is not normal. you should get some counseling to help you unfuck your head. believe me i know. i was assulted a couple times but by different people, but ive gotten through it. so get some help and talk otherwise you will never get better. good luck

No that is not normal, Get some therapy. You might not be able to fix dad, but you can get yourself some help.

You are justified to feel the way you do!
It is called parental sexual abuse..
Talk to your doctor.
