I'm a US citizen and I'm currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a great place to live. Can anyone think of a better Asian country to live in? The following are important to me: 1. Must be able to get a job, 2. Low cost of living and 3. friendly people. Thank you for your assistance.

Singapore. It's a cosmopolitan city. And you will never feel like a foreigner because you can find every race here.(Well except for African tribes.) As cultured as we are, we do have some westernise traits.

These past years, Singapore's employment rate has gone up too. Most of the citizens are employed and paid well.

Cost of living is affordable. And yes, the people here are friendly.

If you want something on the lines of BKK, try Hongkong.

For a challenge, consider either Korea or China.
