I personally believe that he could be, just look at the mircles that he did while here. Some Pagans call that magick. I do believe in God, the Holy Spirit but I also believe in a Goddess, who's to say that Jesus isn't the son of the God and the Goddess? Let me know what you think. The Bible says that the mircles the Jesus did we would do and greater still... mircles or magick?

LOL, someone's been reading my posts ;)
As I've posted, I believe he studied with the Pagans after age 12 and became a Master Reiki practitioner, ran around in a circle of thirteen and performed amazing magick. He loved nature and taught love of self and others. If he lived today, I'd easily be a friend.

Elder, I too, have been Wiccan for many years and I am fully aware that we don't bring the dead back to life. But we weren't there to see if that actually happened, were we? He was a healer, so they say (surely you're familiar with Reiki) and he did indeed run around in a circle of thirteen (so they say). The rest could be made up. Much of it was, you know -- possibly all. Quoted: "Was Jesus a witch? No,he was a simple man, who walked the earth, and talked of things he believed in. The most important thing of all was LOVE." In my tradition, that's what my mixture of Witchcraft/Wicca is all about. :)

Mystine, if magick doesn't exist (which I know it does) then your prayers don't exist. Magick is manipulation of energies and casting your intentions to the universe for deity to hear....prayer, correct?

lil i ren, she plainly said "magick" not the Criss Angel-type magic...two totally different entities. See above for what magick is, since you don't know: casting your intentions, manipulation of energies: prayer.

wow. you have one of the best opinions i've ever read. so are you a christian pagan? i say both. not every one can do magick so if he is the son of god and goddess then he might not have be able to do magick, but could perform miracles thru god and goddess. or he was a witch, and asked for their assistance. i really dont know but i've changed my opinion of jesus a little.

)o(

edit : the ignorance of certain people is disturbing. witches are real and whether or not anyone can accept that. i am a witch and whether god exists or not, i believe what i believe and you believe what you believe. when will be people accept this truth? no one is right.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Your world view
would seem to be an eclectic
combination of several systems.
In that way your current view
is similar (at a "process level")
to that of the Ancient (?) Greek
Gnostics (or of a more contemporary
genre), the indigenous tribes of
northern India in their tribe-to
-tribe "melange" of Siva and His
Attributes, or even the evolution
of the "folk religions" that
came to be in the Latin American
areas after the introduction of
Catholicism and Africian tribal
religions.

You would seem to have no distinction
(or not be aware of the distinction)
between Prophecy vs Divination, Miracle
vs Magick. I would think you would be
better served by requesting information
pertinent to the definitions by
faculty at a university local to your
area. And I would recommend you ask
more than one professor...as their
references may be unique.

As an "aside":
Certain "miracleous" occurances were
routinely performed by native Souix
Medicine Men during "Wild West" shows
(see "Black Elk" below, late in the
1800s...I think). These people of the
Souix were called "Shamans".

Magic(K), does not work that way. You cannot raise the dead, turn water into wine, feed a multitude with 5 fish and loaves. Magic is as easy to use as prayers are to christians.
Do I believe in miracles? Certainly, the miracle of birth, the miracle of a flower or any plant or tree growing from a seed, the miracle of a childs smile.
Was Jesus a witch? No,he was a simple man, who walked the earth, and talked of things he believed in. The most important thing of all was LOVE. He died, and that was the end. Maybe he will be reborn to this world, who knows.

edit: Wiccanhpp, I was under the impression that Heavenst asked the question. Even so, I still have never heard of a Reiki master raising the dead.

Jesus is just the personification of the SUN... they turned the story of the sun and the zodiac into this big fable. It has been done in many other religions for thousands of years before jesus.

Some of the stuff like the water into wine stuff was taken from previous myths, that one comes from the Greek God Dionysus.

You believe nothing but Myths and imaginary Gods and Goddeses therefore you cannot differenciate in Magic and miracles!

You seems to be a confused personality; believ in God but not believe in the miracles of God?? Which God you worship?

Jesus said "I do things with the finger of God"
Any thing done by the will of God cannot be termed as magic.

Your doubts about the miracles shown by Jesus are baseless. The people around him were not blind!

Find the real God - The Lord and creator of universe.

A human is made up of body, soul, and, spirit. When you die , if you have the Holy Spirit your soul returns to God. If you do not have the Holy Spirit, your soul is cast into the pit of hell. Christ is God and he was born into this reality to show us how to accept the Holy Spirit so we can return to him and be with God for eternity.

When you die, you will have no consciousness. This is why, for purposes of your salvation, it does not matter what you do in this existence as long as you accept the Holy Spirit as Christ showed us to do. Everything will be forgotten when you die and will have absolutely no relevance except for this one decision you make about the Spirit.

Christ's purpose on this planet was not to perform miracles and entertain us or make our existence easier but to show us none of this existence matters to a God.

Since Jesus was a practicing Jew, I really rather doubt it.

The Hebrew people had/have enough of their own practitioners for them to need to delve into the spiritual or magical practices of others

I would believe that Jesus was an alien that came to our planet with extremely advanced technology that seemed like "miracles" to humans before I would believe he was a witch.

"Magick" doesn't exist.

Jesus was not a "witch". He was the Son of God. There is a difference.
