A mezzo soprano IS a mezzo. Mezzo means "middle" so a mezzo soprano is a soprano who sings a little lower than a normal soprano, but higher than an alto. So therefore I'd say you're a soprano with a good range.

A "mezzo" is short for "mezzo-soprano." In the Italian language, the word 'mezzo' means half, middle, medium. A mezzo-soprano is a
'half soprano', meaning that her range is lower than that of a soprano. In addition, the most beautiful part of her voice is in a different place than that of a soprano. We are talking about a finished voice, a voice that hangs together all of a piece, without any awkward shifts and changes.
You can't really say that a singer sings from this low note to that high note and *therefore* she is a this or a that .....you need to know where the voice is most comfortable naturally, and where the singer can sing the most easily, without becoming tired. And where the voice blooms, where it has its best sound.

"mezzo" is just short for "mezzo-soprano". If you can sing soprano all the way then you're probably a lyric mezzo or a soprano.

honestly, you cant really sing two voice parts at one time since you can only sing one note at a time. I think, if you have the range to do both, there is no proper way to do it, just sing the best way that you sing, and since you have the range, it should be right. BUT!! choirs are always lacking in good first sopranos that arenot screechy, so if you had to pick...

Are you a male or female? come back with this information as it makes a whole lot of difference to the answer! A low voice from a young female is definitely not natural and can be genetic or through laryngeal trauma
