To sister : to strengthen (a supporting beam) by fastening a second beam alongside it.
Eg. In order to correct my sagging floor, I shall have to sister the joists.'

the word sister is a NOUN, right?...but a Verb you say?

Maybe we can try this:
put a suffix "ED".......as in Sistered.
