It does not matter what belief you have, if you post a question that is ignorant of the facts and you are caught out and proved wrong. then I think that it is appropriate to delete the question.

This is well phrased, your point of view.
However, I feel that maybe a person asking the question has really thought about it and decides to remove it. It may not be worth asking. We all have the right to ask and remove questions at our discretion. At Yahoo Answers, there are many opinions being express professionally and some down right nasty. This is the way it goes. We have the right to answer the questions we like and to tastefully ignore the questions that may offend us.

LOL, I've noticed this a few times.
I think hypocrisy unites us all. I call it the "Walt Whitman's Song of Myself" theory.
"Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself. I am large. I contain multitudes." -Song of Myself.
My point is that we all take stands on lots of issues and eventually are going to contradict ourselves without realizing it. Some people see those contradictions and correct them, but others just hide them and hope nobody notices (Whitman takes a third route of embracing them as unavoidable).

I noticed the removal of Tish ⥠Disney's question as well :)
LOL
Addition:
She has also changed her name from Tish ⥠Disney to Tish ⥠, dropped the Disney... As if she now wants to hide a bit more... :)
2nd Addition: The plot continues to thicken she has also removed the 2 hypocritical answers used to illustrate her hypocrisy... LOL

I can be a hypocrit at times, but at least I notice my own hypocrasy and keep it in check most of the time.
If a question of mine is gone, then 10 points went with it :(

Well, surely, most people are hypocrites. And most of the same people deny that fact.
People hate the truth, can't stand the truth, and argue against the truth, and more so if it is about them.

I've never said I'm not a hypocrite, as a matter of fact, I say I'm working on the problem.

No not really I usually notice people deleting questions that have no reason to be deleted, and the hypocrites usually don't back down.

My questions just get removed because people are too sensitive, and don't know how to just move on without stopping first to express outrage.

It's as bad as people debating you in a question you ask then reporting your question when they end up looking the fool. Had that happen.
