In the 1st Gulf War I transported The M1 Tanks. Although, it was the previous style of the HET it was still great to drive. With all that weight and size you was the biggest thing on the road, every one would get out of your way.

they have to use the exits cause the bridge usually cant handle the weight of the abrams ... the last few seconds of that clip showed APC (Armored Personnel Carriers) and they are light enough for the rated weight of the bridge.

They move them on trucks so the treads don't tear up the road.

I think that they have to exit because the overpass can not handle the weight, but who knows.
