Is it possible to install the ''emotion chip'' into the 40 gig ps3?

I feel so ripped off ever since I found out that the 40 gig play station 3 doesn't play ps2 games...

And I bought today, and used it.
I hate Sony lol

the emotion chip has a different operating medium-it is solely designed for use in the 60 and 80 gig versions of the machine. the man above is quite correct-you should have done some research on the machine before you bought it (i compared the ps3,s specs with other consoles before i parted with my hard-earned). although i can see where you are coming from-for the sort of money a ps3 costs it should really have come backwards compatible straight out of the box like the ps2 did so i think sony have had us over there. saying this the 60 gig version is becoming a much desired and rare machine since sony discontinued it's production earlier this year.

first of all don't ever say u hate sony and second of u should read before buying so its not sonys foult so don't blame them blame ur self.and no it is not possible.
