make soundclip stop certain time? PowerPoint?

i know how to make it start at a certain time but is there a way of making it stop at a certain time too?

Hi,

The best way to deal with this is to edit the sound file and make it the proper length, then put it into PowerPoint.

Audacity is an excellent sound editing program and it's free.

For free sound clips use Insert > Clip Art. It will take you to the Microsoft site where you can get free sounds.
