I took a career assessment test way back when I was in 9th grade. It asked a large number of questions, and based off my responses, it produced a small list of occupations that seemed to suit me. At the top of the list was computer programmer. Lo and behold, that's what I ended up becoming, and I enjoyed it. I'm currently a computer operator, but I do want to get back into programming eventually...

...Anyway, take a career assessment test either at your school or online. They're pretty good, especially the ones that ask 100+ questions.

I was in high school when I learned my father has diabetes and we have always wanted to make things comfortable with him and not to let him worry much. And I was fascinated with the cell like characteristic of an onion sheath under the microscope and wanted to see different things under another perspective. I ask my mom what are you called if you are doing those things... Plus the fact that I am not horrified by the sight of blood... :)

so, I became a Medical Technologist. :)
