Ray0vac made rechargeable alkalines for a while. However, you can safely use NiMH rechargeable AAs in your camera and they will last a lot longer than disposable alkalines. There are new longer life NiMH AA rechargeables that hold a charge even when not used for long periods. Try the Sanyo Eneloops NiMH rechargeable AAs. Also: ignore the advice about having to fully drain NiMH batteries. NiMH batteries can be recharged even if only partially used. The older NiCads had to be fully discharged or they'd develop a "memory" but NiMH batteries don't have this problem. Just avoid overcharging, as heat from overcharging is bad.

You should NEVER attempt to recharge alkaline batteries. Only NiCad, LiOn or NiMH batteries should be put into a charger.

The shop (or website) where you bought your camera, should also have a range of chargers.
An unfortunate aspect of NiCad batteries, is that they have what is known as a 'memory' effect, which means that any residual charge in the battery will be retained, and thus, no matter how many times you re-charge, it will retain that small amount. Best bet is to go for NiMH.
