do they have age restrictions because i am 13 and my friend is 15 and we are planing to go crewe on the virgin train without adults

No, they don't. Just behave yourselves and don't put your feet up on the seat!

There's no age restriction, within limits, on travelling on Virgin or in fact any trains in the UK. Just make sure you do get the tickets at the station so you can get the child fare (they don't have to give you child fare if you buy tickets on the train) and of course be careful.
I once was asked by parents to look after a 5 year old girl travelling on her own from Birmingham to Newcastle, over 4 hours journey, as I was the guard of the train. But anyone over about 10 can usually look after themselves.
