Yes I know theres a list of top answerers. I want to know who you think gives good answers and whats good about their answers. I have noticed some just want points and some just want to attack people, who are the ones that want to help?

I think there are a lot who want to help, and it goes without saying who just wants points or want to jump all over the asker(s) to salve their egos and etc.
Look for the analytical answerers; the ones who can put a question or problem into context and take a perspective empathetic with your own, then provide a complete answer.
Those who are thorough-and provide links so you can delve deeper on your own-are more helpful than those who just want to give you a pat answer to a complex issue.
When it comes to modeling questions and answers, be very wary of mentions of on-line modeling resources. Those are havens for Guys With Cameras (GWCs) who try to pass themselves off as professionals.

Reading answers, especially to questions you know the answers to, will help you to determine knowledgeable contributors. Nasty attack answers are just that, no explanation required. This is not a popularity contest. Some top contributors have specific fields of expertise, as it applies to their business, some see an incomplete answer, and add relevant info.
