Personally, I don't understand everyone's desire for all these other beverages. True, I've never cared for the taste of the majority of beverages, but there are some I like.
But I think because I didn't like most non-water beverages, I didn't get into the habit of sating my thirst with these other choices. I drink some of my favorite drinks on rare occasions, but I certainly feel little desire for it.
I think it's the same with dogs. They can develop a sweet tooth and undoubtedly sugar cravings as well. They can certainly develop a liking for a certain food or drink. But I imagine since they've never had the opportunity, they, like me who's never had the desire, are quite satisfied with just drinking water.

No dogs don't get bored of water. That's what they drink, that's all they need to drink. People would be better off if they just drank water.

I only drink water and I am fine, I think its better for them as well. Because we have things in our bodies that can clean out what we drink, and maybe drinking iced tea to a dog might kill it. You wouldn't want to get your dog sick for trying to give him some "flavor" would you?

Most dogs like those other things too. Most dogs like beer as much as we do, although my Dad has a weiner dog that growls at alcohol if you offer it to her. It's best not to make your dog kool-aid or give it soda. It won't hurt the dog, but it certainly won't help it. Same goes for alcohol.

Water is the only healthy thing that dogs can drink rather than their mothers milk.

Well that's a fun question!
I think dogs only drink when they are thirsty - they want the feeling of being hydrated, not the taste. Food is another matter!

Dogs love water. They'd rather drink water than almost anything else in the world. They don't have the same kind of taste buds people have.
