how do i get the same picture quality on blu ray that is shown on the store demos?

Well you need an HDTV to start with.

Then you need a BluRay player, a real BluRay disk (not a standard def DVD), and a HDMI cable for the connection between the player and the TV.

Since the HDMI cables carry digital signals - they are INSENSITIVE to the price of the cable. Mine come from Monoprice (for the short ones) and the long cable comes from BlueJeans ($38).

You need the proper cables (HDMI) + Hi Def Movie in the first place. Note that the store demos are shot with special Hi Def Cameras too wheras movies are generally not.

you have to have a good quality tv. the higher the contrast ratio, the better. go with either a samsung or the sony xbr4.

also, don't forget HDMI cables. they make a HUGE difference. digital video and audio signal. get the monster brand
