There are two options, either your body produces a area in your arm and makes a different pigment then the rest of your body (like some people have spots of a different color on their head)
Or another rather gross but highly possible alternative. It's possible to get someone else's hair on your body and have it settle into one of your pores. It from there will either get infected, causing a ingrown hair, or just hang out there until it breaks off, gets pushed out naturally or until yo find it!
Nothing to worry about!

Was it kind of stiff too? Cause I have one that grows on my back that is just like that. I can feel it start to tickle my back when it gets long and I have to reach around and find it and pull it out and it is long and white and coarse-stiff like. About a month or so later, I will find another one in the same place. I don't know what that is about, but I admit it is freaky. Glad to know I am not the only one with a wild hair. LOL.

If it was on a mole, I might be a little concerned but just on yuour arm- nah. As you get older OR STRESSED OUT you hair can turn grey/white . Odd long hairs are just weird. They usually don't mean anything.

Get a grip. There's nothing here to freak you out. You do not have some rare disease. You will not die. This stuff happens. Don't sweat it.
