Jesus promises that if we take up our cross and follow Him we will have the reward of a true follower. Mother Teresa certainly did that.

Mother Teresa had crisis of faith, anyone honestly seeking, experiencing, and attempting to live the call of Christ does, PERIOD.
Anyone who says they don't is flat out lying. Why? Because it is very hard to live the call of a Christian, to be the little Christ, the suffering the service and the sacrifice. Of course it is very easy if saying you are a Christian makes you one and you don;t have to do anything.
So your going after Mother Teresa now, who is next Dorothy Day afterall she feed and clothed thousands of homeless and ran into a crisis because it was so hard and exhausting to love them and find God in them. Or maybe Oscar Romero, I mean perhaps you think if he had had more faith and did not feel in spiritual crisis over a war and the disappearance of people, God would not have had him to martyred for the Salvador people. Maybe the Four nuns who were raped, killed and buried afterall one wrote home saying that she wondered why she was there and questioned God. Perhaps if they had had more trust the would not have been ambushed and killed for working with the poor. I mean perhaps if they had been living a "genuine" Christian experience (which I guess is sitting on yahoo answers and preaching to others) then they would not have questioned God and their lives would have been oh so much fuller.
So who is on your hit list next, who else's lives and accomplishments in God does not live up to your piety and your shining example of Christianity you set and the good of Christ????? Hmmmmmmm?

Mother Teresa's Christian experience is no different from thousands of Christians all over the world. She accepted, believed, and received Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord and lived her life accordingly. If she had doubts from time to time they didn't invalidate her Christian experience or her work. She is at this moment worshipping God in Heaven even as she worshipped Him on earth.

To suffer as He has suffered.
To drink the cup of bitterness as He has. (to the dregs)
To thirst.
This is not in contrast to her experience. I believe that she had her ups and her downs as we all did. Our joys and our sorrows we offer up to Him. I am sure that there were many days that she had that were more uplifting than you could imagine.
