Will there be a 80gb PAL ps3 for nz or will there be a new ps3 model all together? Dont just quess the answer tell me how u know cause it decides weather i get a 40gb one thats all u can get in nz or wait for a 80 gb PAL or a new model.

Im from India (PAL region, grouped with europe for marketing)
80 gb models wont be available here
60 gb models will be available until the stock runs out
40 gb currently not available
20 gb discontinued

Right now I haven't heard about new PS3 model. 80GB won't be available in PAL regions (at least now). 60GB pal isn't manufactured anymore, so PAL regions will have only 40GB version.

if they discontinued the 60GB in your region and you don't want the 40GB, boycott Sony, until they bring a new model . get another console(Xbox or Wii) You do not have to put up with their crap. I do not like the 40GB because it is not backwards compatible with PS2 games. If that is all they sell in my area, I would boycott Sony too.
