my family uses Hellman's light... it is 2g fat...
real mayo is basically made from eggs...
all children NEED good fats while growing up - a little mayo wont hurt at all! just stay away from the rich ones - they are very high in fat...

It's not bad...but it's not my fave. Everyone has thier own opinions. It's not considered a healthy food, no. For children? I'm sure it's fine in moderation. I grew up having a tuna sandwich w/mayo at least once a week and I never had any problems with weight or otherwise. It's really a personal choice. Not sure what you are trying to get at but that is my personal point of view. :)

No, mayonnaise has too much fat content. There's a better product called Nayonnaise made from soy and it's also cholesterol free. Way healthier for children! And it tastes the same!

We don't have any mayonnaise in our house, we all think it's a vile substance! It tastes bad, smells bad and is really unhealthy!

The raw egg part of it always seems risky to me. I love a product called vegenaise. Tastes clean and fresh, and has good-for-you ingredients like flax seed oil.

Mayo is one of the worst things for your body.
Miracle whip is better, but its still a fatty substance.

I would "Hold the mayo" when it comes to kids because it may make them too fat. Mustard would be much more healthier.
