why do pastors(the ones I know) lie to me face to face? Are they not representives of God?

See I have thing against prophets, I believe no one is hearing Gods voice. So I said to God "if any come in your name before me and say God said this to me to say to you ...so and so. They must bring some kind of password to me". I am like a locked computer, I will not open to them unless they have one. So I have had 1 pastor, and like 4 Christians come to me saying God said this, but bring no password. They get mad at me and say God does not need a passward, for I am in his will. The pastor just ran from me and said I will pray someone gives you a password. Heck if God did not like my password they could have said it them selfs, to not test the Lord your God before they spoke to me. But no one comes to me with this password, but many come to tell me what to do in God's name.


I am a follower of only his voice, and I have tried very, very hard to listen for it. I am sure the thousands of christians that say they hear his voice..."think they hear it" or make it up. So why lie to me?

by the way I am still waiting for that password. The pastor said he would pray...???

If you put every obstacle in the way of belief, there is no way that you will believe. But remember that once upon a time not too long ago, there were no such things as computers and passwords, and somehow man figured out how to come up with the gizmos. I'm not saying that God told the many people who were involved in creating the computers we have now how to do their work, but on the other hand, I haven't seen any computers made by chimpanzees or ants.

I will give you this credit. You are pretty brave to put something so personal out there on a forum like this one. God bless you as you try to find Peace with Him.

God does speak through people. The book of Acts confirms this. The work of the Holy Spirit is controlled by no man, but on the contrary does the controlling.

Be careful in not trying to tempt the Lord your God.

The only password you need is someone under the influence of the Holy Spirit preaching the Word of God to you. You can confirm what is being said by studying the scriptures for yourself.

And thinking about all of this, I do have a question for you. If you can pray to God yourself, you can study the Bible for yourself, and if you have been saved and have the Holy Spirit yourself, then why do you need someone else to "Tell you" anything about God.

I believe in what is called the Priesthood of Every Believer. Jesus Christ removed the veil of the Flesh & Sin that separated Man from God, and now we can boldly enter the throne of Grace personally.

You do not need anybody. Just serve the Lord faithfully according to Truth and the Holy Spirit.

Hearing from the Lord does not require a 'password per se.'
All it needs is a humble heart, a teachable spirit (attitude) and a desire to please the True & Living God.

However you will ALSO NEED TO TEST THE SPIRITS. Read 1 John for more on this. Is the word given 'in line' with Scripture or does it contradict scripture?

If it contradicts scripture, then it is NOT from God, but from a lying spirit. This was what happened to Joseph Smith Jr. He received the Book of Mormons from the angel Moroni, supposedly sent by God....Joseph Smith did not test the spirits, & the result of that was the starting of a cult that has deceived many thousands.

One of the characteristic of cults is always 'a NEW REVELATION.' A word of caution for you, my friend....if that new revelation that you hear 'from God' is not scriptural, then please reject it in Jesus' Name. Don't be duped by the lies of the devil. Satan is a deceiver, the Father of liars, & a slanderer.

Another thing for you to do is, you need to forgive the pastors who have hurt you. No one is perfect, including pastors.

Well,it appears that you have inadvertently hit upon the way to protect your sanity and freedom.Never mind the pass word,which you also should be knowing, isn't there.One thing is for sure.When people begin to hear voices(including from a God),they are getting ready for the Asylum.By the way,pastors are also humans and they also have to show some output in their jobs.So,instead of being angry with them,be kind but tactful, as they need it badly.

I don't know what they said to you, but I do know that God does speak to use through His word the Bible. If they preach a different Gospel, than that which is taught in the Bible, then it is not profitable to take it in. Always remember that the Kingdom of God is near you. There is no other truth than this, We are all sinners in need of a Savior and perfect sacrifice, Jesus Christ.

I strongly believe that people believe they hear the word of God. I strongly believe people believe aliens have taken them to their ships. Christianity is so obviously false for so many different reasons. The Bible's inconsistencies, the problem of evil, the evil in the Bible and my personal favorite Horus the orginally Jesus.

Let me suggest a book- living the extraordinary life by charles Stanley.. Let go of your bitterness. When you are sinning and not livingin obedience to Gods Word it is hard to hear Him and He will use others to speak to you, to try to get you to see the Truth- His Word! He will not do anything on your terms, not unless HE knows it is best for you and it will glorify Him- If you are not a believer- He will not hear your prayers- all HE hears is your prayer for salvation!

He is not a God you want Him to be
HE is God as who HE is

if you expect things your way
then your an idol worshipper

Good. Don't follow his voice. God gave you a brain and expects you to use it. He's also given you a Bible and expects you to read it, so take the time to do that.
I guess it's fashionable to believe God talks to people, and I believe he does from time to time. My experience is it is very easy to trick yourself, so it's much better to do what I said.
