Cannot do a disk fragmemtation on Windows Xp so I am gonna go back into dos and force it need the path.

Disk defragmentation in WinXP is Start>Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance,(Category view instead of Classic), Rearrange Items On Your Harddisk to Make Programs Run Faster.

Explain exactly what happens when you try, with error messages, and maybe we can help.

TIP: Run Defrag in safe mode (tap F8 during boot) OR disable your Screensaver. DOS is not the right tool.
