No less than 1200. Below that threshhold your body will think there's a famine and hold on to EVERY bit of fat it can.

well first of all crunches and squats and lunges dont make u lose weight, the only way to burn fat is to get ur heart rate up so jogging on treadmill is burning fat. there is 3500 calories in a pound of fat. so if u burned 3500 calories on the treadmill with out eating any calories u would lose a pound. just burn more calories than u r taking in. so to lose 2 pounds u have to burn 1000 more calories than ur taking in a day for a week to lose 2 pounds in a week. not an easy thing to do.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

It depends on how many calories you eat as of now. It has nothing to do with what size you are. If you eat 1,000, cut it down to 800, but don't cut it down too much. If you do, your body will think you're starving it, and the minute you eat any more than you have been it will turn right to fat. So for the next couple of days, find the calorie content of whatever you're eating and go by that.
But personally, it doesn't sound like you need to lose weight at all, but it's up to you.
Good luck.

Honestly, if youd like to be at the ideal weight you should lose about 10 punds if you want to be at your ideal weight...
you shouldnt think aout the calories but what you eat.
Just cut out whit grain carbs and eat SMALLER portions thats the way to lose weight, also eat very little sugar items...
if you fdo all of these things PLUS drink lots of water you will lose the two pounds a week, i promise you

How many calories a day are you eating now ? Reduce your intake by 1/4 and that should do it. Don't forget to drink a lot of water. Eight glasses a day. Good Luck ! :)

multiply your ideal weight by 11, thats how many calories you need per day if you sit and don't do anything. if you exercise with a constant heart rate around 135bpm multiply the previous number by 1.2 for 20min of exercise 1.3 for 30min of exercise 1.4 for 40min of exercise.
