For sword owners? There isn't any. Not unless you are the swordsmith who made the katana or a Shinto priest. In ancient times, a japanese swordsmith purifies himself by bathing in holy water and goes through an elaborate shinto ritual before beginning work on a sword. Any blessing is usually done during this first stage of forging a sword. Perhaps a shinto priest might hold some ceremony to bless the sword later for an important daimyo for whom the sword is intended, but the swordsmith's blessing is usually considered enough to do the job.

when being given the sword, kneel to the ground, bow your head, and hold your two hands up infront of your so the sword can be placed OnTop of your hands, do not grip it at first. when you stand up, still hold it infront of you ontop of your two hands so that it is parallel to the ground, bow over the sword to the person who gave it to you, and then you may grip it in it's entirety/ holster it to your belt.
