What are your favourites? I'm looking for the most ridiculous and stupid arguments against evolution there are. So, what are the ones that have made you cringe the most?

witwwats: Oh my God, yes, that one is a classic, is it not? It amazes me that there are still people who take that "Darwin recanted" bollocks seriously!

The craziest argument is the one where Darwin recanted his theory before he died. Oh, wait....That one was TRUE.

OK, what about the argument where people say no one has ever known a monkey to turn into a man over time. That's total....that is actually TRUE.

Wait, wait, I have one.....no, wait, wait.....

Check out this lovely diorama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:CreationMuseum15.png ) in the Creation Museum (http://arstechnica.com/articles/culture/ars-takes-a-field-trip-the-creation-museum.ars ) showing Eve sitting in a very sexy frock next to an over sized velociraptor.

I also love the photo of a parent trying to help his child onto a saddled tricertops (http://media.arstechnica.com/news.media/400/526893292_e95eb57c10.jpg ).

Just look around you. Can you not see that the earth, the sky and the heavens were created by god? Look at all the beautiful flowers and trees. How can they be here if there wasn't a god?

I hear that shiznit almost daily. It's getting a little old. I wish they would put up a better argument or shut up altogether.

I like the ones where the anti-evolutionists think the process we support is simply a dog giving birth to a cat (or something similar).

I also like the "...then how come there are still monkeys?" argument (as question). That's a classic.

Well, this video is just hilarious, a man trying to use peanut butter as evidence that evolution couldn't work. http://www.hammeruncut.com/proof-that-evolution-is-a-fairy-tale/. And then there's the arguments that drag the Big Bang and abiogenesis into it, as if that has anything to do with evolution.

well in the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster, this one guy wrote a letter saying how a TV didnt evolve from a bowl of soup, and that is why evolution is illogical. moron.

i also hate it when people try to act like they understand it, then bad mouth it, when really they are VERY ignorant on the topic.

Ask Darwin.

He recanted his theory before he died.

Funny, he's the Father of "Evolution" and he denies it himself.

What makes me cringe is when people try to say scientists never said we come from monkeys, when they did at one time because they used to have charts showing a monkey changing into a man. They said we came straight from Mr. Monkey. Now they say we just have a "Common Ancestor" with monkeys, which is a terrible attempt at semantics at best. I really get a kick out of that one.

I say..........Go ahead and believe what you want. But don't come crying at the end of time if you were wrong.

My favorite dishonest arguement is that nobody has ever seen life come from non-living material. In other words nobody has ever seen a living cell which did not come from another living cell....Wait a minute, that's true. Nevermind.
