Do you trust in God or man? God is there to take care of the ones that he really loves. The ones he doesn't love, not so much. So, as one of his special children I know that he would never let me get sick or hurt.

I saved a whole bunch of money by canceling my health insurance. Won't you do the same?

I think you're full of ****. You can't fool everybody about your fake beliefs, Jezebel. God didn't create us to be stupid. Health insurance has nothing to do with our spiritual relationship with God. I suggest you quit trying to foist your fake beliefs on people. After all.....God is watching everything you do!

God answers ALL prayers but the outcome will not necessarily be what you asked for. Therefore some people will get well as a result of prayer. Others will not. Our life is not of this world so God will not prolong our lives just because we ask him to. Whether or not a person has Health Insurance is irrelevant. There is nothing wrong with having it if it brings you earlier or better medical treatment.

Wow, I am astonished by this. Maybe I'm naive, but I didn't think there were people out there who actually believed that they would never get sick or hurt.

I am also a child of God, but I don't believe that means I have special protection from illness or injury.

And here's something to think about... health insurance pays for prenatal care as well as the birth of a baby. If I remember correctly, babies are a gift from God, so how does renouncing health insurance make any sense?

I'm Pagan and I cancelled my health insurance because of the scamming and corruption. They declined blood tests from my physical because it wasn't related to treating an illness. I pay less by just paying out of pocket for all the annual checkups and chiropractic visits twice a month. Alternative health care has done far more for me than traditional government corrupted health care. God doesnt keep me well - my health choices do.

Uh, nooo. I found it comes in handy more often than not. I trust in God, but I also believe he wants us to be independent and logical too, so I trust in Men also, although sometimes it is hard. I just ask him to guide me.
I was under the assupmtion that God loves us all, and finds as ALL special. I do find it admirable that you are confident that nothing bad will ever happen to you, but pride is a sin, and it sounds to me that you may be a bit overly prideful.
I just hope that he dosen't do something to teach you a lesson, and you end up needing it. That would be an expensive lesson! *LOL*

No, I wouldn't be able to find anyone else to insure my health if I canceled my policy. God is great and he can heal, but will he heal if a person has a genetically inherited heart condition? I'll keep the insurance, just in case.

As a Christian, we're told not to put the Lord to the test. So, he gives us brains to use. As a Christian, I realize that I'm not guaranteed a wonderful life by earthly standards

But, I don't have health insurance for a different reason. The temp job I'm at has insurance that is not worth the money you spend (75 per week for our family and only covers 5 office visits per year). So, we just don't go to the doctor because we can't afford it.

But I have faith that my circumstances will change and then I'll have insurance once again.

i look at it in a different way. god has nothing to do with it. why are you special? i thought god loved everyone. i think your full of sh#t. you do have a valid point tho. if everyone quit paying insurance, which is the biggest rip off there has ever been, the prices would be lowered. if not eliminated.

I believe in God, but I also believe He has allowed us to find some of our own protection. God is not our personal magician to be called upon only to do our bidding. He gives us earthly ways to deal with situations and expects us to take care of ourselves as much as possible. If God has allowed us to find a cure for Pneumonia and we refuse to use it, aren't we in fact refusing God's provisions?

Where in the Bible had Jesus healed anyone who had an earthly way of being cured? He didn't. He expected people to be smart enough to use what was already provided. Due to this, I will keep my insurance and continue to ask for the miracles for things that can not be fixed on the earthly plane.

Oh please Donna, anyone with any experience on this site can tell that you're a non-believer pretending to be Christian. I could sniff you out a mile away. You really need to try harder if you want to fool the regulars of this section.
