I believe those two terms are contradictory.

[add] 'Religion' and 'objective standards' are mutually exclusive.

Religion does not allow you to be objective. You believe the teachings or you don't. They leave no room for questioning which in turn would be considered blasphemy.
Life may be a little less confusing and people would be a little more tolerant to each other if indeed they allowed for questioning and objectiveness.
I've been thrown out of many Catechism classes for questioning when I was younger.
