Um I'm not a scientist, but the earth was created 4.6billion years ago, planets form little by little, as material slowly congeals within the disk of gas, dust, and ice known to swaddle young stars. first, gravity gathers together bits of dust, which merge to form boulder-size bodies, which themselves coalesce into bigger and bigger objects. In about a million years, these form rocky planets.

Nobody made monkeys, we evolved from single cell organisms, Life started in the simplest possible way, as a cycle, a natural chemical reaction that repeated itself, spinning off byproducts, and some stayed around to maintain and develop the cycle.

Christians believe that they have never found Jesus's remains because Jesus, body and all, ascended into heaven after his resurection.

You have to have faith. There is a GOD. And HEAVEN, and JESUS did walk the earth, And will again. It's religion that has screwed the whole world up. different religions telling people what they should believe, how they should pray.Send us you 're money and well save you 're soul! It's all bullshit! If you don't believe what we believe the way we believe you're going to HELL! It's all crap. Man created it, not GOD. More people have died in religious wars than any other. Look at the war were fighting now, It's over religion. What more can I say. I don't go to church either, but from what I've read, and what i see all around me the greed, the filth, And the horrible things man does to man just because they don,t believe the same thing!!! It;s all wrong this is not the way our CREATOR wants us to behave!!! I know it,s been said a million times. for hundreds perhaps thousands of year's but THE END really is near!!!!!!! So do you're self a big favor the biggest one you've ever done, And look to the sky's look inside you're self, look into you're heart, and start praying, praying for you're self you're family, pray for all humanity, Because we really are witnessing the end of times. May GOD forgive us for we know not what we do!!!

It is a given that a man existed about 2000 years ago names Jesus. Much of that which comes down to us today at being a factual accounting of his life is plausible, including much of what he MIGHT have said in certain circumstances.

But remember THIS, the story we read of that ancient Jesus in this day and time was not written until some 300 years AFTER his death. It seems to me that an event of such profound importance (the coming of the Christ) and such outlandish claims (he rose form the dead) of the time, would have at least gotten a page 9 mention in the Times New Roman newspaper of the day.

It is a story. A story designed to grasp the imagination and wonder of the very young. (ever try to get an old Baptist Minister and a Catholic Priest to swap churches?)

Once indoctrinated in the teachings of the church (no matter HOW outlandish the story) further obiediance is insured thru peer pressure, shame, and fear...fear of the afterlife, fear of burning in hell, etc. etc.

Remember too, the church was once the High Rulers of the State. All state functions were subservient to the church. Religion was THE means of controlling the masses.

Google "The Spanish Inquisition" and learn of the "official enforcement arm" of the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages.

Galileo was threatened with the "rack" by his close friend the Pope if he did not refute his published book on the "Earth being the Center of the Universe" He spent his last days in house arrest for not publicly denouncing his works.

Christians belief Jesus died and was resurrected. Therefore they are no remains to find. God gives each human a choice to believe or not believe. Christian believe that if you don't accept God then when you die you will go to hell. You don't have to abide by any rules of God, and God doesn't have to accept you into heaven if you rejected Him while on Earth. When Jesus went back to heaven he ascended upward, but we know he not sitting up in the blue sky. There is nothing in the Bible about "little red guys in thongs with pitch forks and the words middle earth are not there either. I don't have to prove anything to you, but I would suggest if you are really interested in understanding Christianity to read the Bible. Reading the Bible and talking to a believer would clear up some of your confusion because you don't understand anything about the Christian faith.

Every society has their stories to explain what they can't explain. Some sort of religion is universal. Why did lighting strike him? Why did she get sick and die? Why was there an earthquake? What they can't explain, people blame on the spirits or gods.

The rules of religion are pretty obvious. Without rules, what other incentives can you use to keep order? Marriage exists so a man can "own" a woman, so that there won't be barfights over her every night... Someone's gotta feed her kids. Might as well be more sure that they are yours.

Thou shalt not murder, steal, covet thy neighbor's possessions or nether regions, etc.- You don't need religion to tell you that without these sorts of rules, society would fall apart. Some are odd (was "don't eat pork" a health issue?). Others are good ideas - take one day a week off, even for your slaves. Free your slaves after 7 years. etc. Telling them that they risked eternal damnation on top of jail time (or cross time) just helped keep people scared straight.

The "Duh!" answer you'll get from Cristians is "Duh! He ascended into heaven, there are no earthly remains!"

The most direct evidence, IIRC, comes from Josephus(?) a Jewish historian, who wrote about Jesus about 80AD. Considering that there were Christian cults spreading all over the Roman Empire (mostly thanks to St. Paul), the evidence is pretty obvious that somebody did something. Most of the gospels were written within a few decades after Jesus died. Luke was the only gospelator who never actually met Jesus.

First, Jesus's remains are not going to be found because he was bodily resurrected and bodily ascended into heaven. Therefore, the remains are gone.
Second, the Bible records 7 heavens, and we humans haven't even begun to pierce the vastness of the heavens even with our traveling space craft and Hubble instruments.
Third, the Bible says the evil will be burned to ash. It actually presents a little different description of hell than most people think.
Fourth, I read a lot of trauma in your sentence about not asking to be born, and I want to say that I am very sorry that bad things have happened to you
Fifth, I don't think you need to be proved wrong so much as you need to be genuinely loved and accepted. Jesus loves you, sweetie.

For the same reason people believe in Allah, Buddha, and any other religion you can think of. Its spiritual guidance; there is no concrete evidence these God figures actually existed in physical form, but people simply have faith that their God is the true God. Religion gives meaning to people's lives, and provides a set of rules for morale guidance. Regardless of wether one is Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Muslim, etc..., we should learn to respect each other's religious beliefs.
If you're athiest, thats OK too, so long as you don't offend other people by telling them "You worship a false God, because I know for a fact there is no God."
In the future, before making inflammatory statements, do a little research. There are no skeletal remains of Jesus because he supposedly ascended to heaven a short time following his resurrection from death. If you feel it necessary to attack one's religious faith, at least use a topic point that had been discussed, and never been resolved by religious scholars in past debates.
For example, people are quick to quote passages from the Holy Bible; yet a significant majority are not aware the Bible was originally written in ancient Hebrew. No one can really confirm that today's Holy Bible is in its original text translation from the ancient scripts, because hardly anyone can read in ancient Hebrew.

Okay, you obviously don't know the whole story. There are no remains, he rose from the dead, He is not in a grave. He is the only one not in a grave. What's the point in believing in someone who is still in a grave? Mohammed is in a grave, Joseph Smith is in a grave, Buddah is in a grave.........etc.

Who says heaven is in the sky? 3 year olds? Jesus doesn't say be good or go to hell. Again, you are lacking information that makes your statements silly, illogical arguments.

NO pitchforks, either, unless you were being facetious on that one.

Please do some Bible reading to help correct your false assumptions. You might be pleasantly surprised!

I didn't ask to be born either. No one asked. Yet, here we all are.

God is right. If you choose not to believe in Him and believe He sent his son, Christ Jesus, then in the second coming of Christ this will be judged against you and the punishment is being cast into the lake of fire.

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father exept through me. - John 14:6

Heaven, God, Christ Jesus is unseen as the air you breath; as invisible as the wind that moves the grass and leaves. If air is unseen does it still exist?

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deciptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
- Colossians 2:8

For every house is built by someone (it just doen't appear from out of nowhere) but God is the builder of everything. - Hebrews 3:4

Christ conquered death by rising from the dead and was resurrected.....to show his desciples there is eternal life through him. After a time he ascended into heaven. Hence, no remains.

I challenge you to read the Bible to prove you are wrong yourself rather than ask someone to do it for you.

One can only plant a seed but cannot make it grow.

God gave us free will therefore after you have informed yourself well enough; sought out the answers to your questions by asking out of having some understanding of Christ; then you have the free will to choose to believe or not to believe.

What ever your decision, the book of Revalation then will either give you joy or sorrow.

All the best to you, whatever you decide.

By the way...um..who created the single-celled organism?

The earth over 1 million years old???
According to evolutionists, Stone Age man existed for 100,000 years before beginning to make written records about 4,000-5,000 years ago. Prehistoric man built megalithic monuments, made beautiful cave paintings, and kept records of lunar phases. Why would he wait a thousand centuries before using the same skills to record history? The biblical time-scale is much more likely.

The New Testament was written some 50 years after Christ's death....not 300 years.

That's a huge reason why I believe in Jesus. The tomb was empty. There's no remains. HE LIVES.

The resurrection is the single most historically proven event from antiquity, with more than 500 eyewitness accounts, many of which are chronicled in the Bible. These eyewitnesses thereafter were spectacularly changed by seeing a man die and come back to life. So much that the 11 remaining disciples all died horrible deaths (boiled in oil, set on fire, crucified upside down, exiled) as martyrs. No one chooses to die a horrible death for a lie.

As for me personally, I enjoy a great relationship with Him even now. I speak to Him daily and He speaks to me through my Bible reading, a leading in my spirit, a series of divine coincidences, etc.

Get to know Him. Call 1 800 Need Him
The fact that Jesus rose from the grave is profoundly compelling. You can't get past it. Sooner or later you have to come to grips with it.

It says all in the Bible. We were created from dust and to dust we will return when we die. And of course we wouldn't have seen his remains, we weren't there. But the ones who were there are the disciples and they seen all. Jesus was the greatest man that ever lived, that is a book, you should read it. Maybe you will learn something and also read the Bible too. We can't help you understand anything unless you read the Bible, the scriptures.
