are there so many millions, perhaps billions who cannot read? And did God mean for man to teach His word from a Bible that only the teacher could read and decipher?
The Bible speaks of the 'last days' - it also tells us that each man shall have learned his word BEFORE the end of the world.
humm
Man then, keeps certain of the world's population, as ignorant as he can? to prevent the inevitable?
is that it?

God then, sends his word through a numbe rof sinners themselves...sexual deviants, child molesters, etc.. This is all very interesting about this God who sends otehrs to preach His word. I am beginning to believe that God is a myth.

Even the deaf and the blind may be communicated with. They don't have to read to learn about Jesus Christ. A lot of times, hearing in enough.

Now then, there is the matter of what you asked:
" If The Bible is the word of God and God wants all to read and know His word, why then ?"

Who told you that? Where in the Bible does it say that God wants everybody? As if God didn't already say that He does not want everybody? Because He did say that He did not want everybody several times and in many ways.

Oh, I know that there are a lot of Christians saying the same thing, and acting like 'we are all God's children' when it's not in the Bible at all. Only that they tend to be people who only read the Bible in English and probably never crack open a concordance - they who use John 3:16 like it's talking about the whole world - when that would conflict with Romans 9 and John 6 especially.

So I am here to answer your question: God does not want EVERYBODY to read the Bible. They can if they want to, but God chooses who understands it. And He does not want everyone to understand it. Therefore, we have a lot of people who read the Bible who can't understand it. If what I am saying is true, then there would be a lot of people who really want to hate the Bible. There would be a lot of people who read the Bible and find all kinds of bad things to say about it. If what I am saying is true, then there are a lot of people who call themselves Christian who don't understand it either.

Think about it.

Hello - God sent preachers. The preachers who audibly teach the Bible in the language of the people is God's plan. God's message has never been hindered by a lack of a translation of a Bible.

Translations are awesome tools, but God spread His Word through missionary preachers who learn to speak the langauge of the people.

Why there are many that cannot read would be because of a learning disorder caused by imperfections. Also, the bible does not only have to be read, one can hear it on a CD, or watch it on TV. The one that God wanted to teach the bible to others would be by means of His holy spirit, his active force, that helps the individual learning the bible to understand it.

Also, this is why Jesus stated the command to his disciples "to preach and teach" those worldwide so that everyone would have a witness as to whom God is. That way, when judgement day arrives no one would be able to say to God "I don't know who you are, no one came knocking on my door to let me know who you are and what your purposes for mankind is". No one will be left in ignorance when the "end" comes. God is known as a God of order, not of disorder. He is also known as a God of peace and love and justice.

He has his people out there to witness to "all the nations" since he is "not partial". So, really, there is no need to worry if one cannot read or understand the Bible. Everyone will recieve a witness to all the nations and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14). This is only done by Jesus's true disciples who heed his command at Matthew 28:19, 20.

We witness to people in over 235 lands voluntarily. We go to the remotest parts of the earth, the Arctic, the south pole, the desert, you name it. We are everywhere - there are over 6 million of God's true worshippers out there preaching and teaching the right-hearted ones to learn about Jehovah God in the Bible.

To view our statistics please go http://www.watchtower.org for more info on how this is done and how many have come to learn the true God and his purposes.

Reasoning for people who can't read?? That would be Satan's doing to try and deter people completely from the reading or at least acknowleging the Bible....Just like a baby crying during a sermon is the devil's subtle way of trying to excuse people from the sanctuary to quiet their children so they can't hear scripture as it is preached from their pastor....very clever of Satan, eh? Not more clever than God, though!!

Also....there is predetermination (by God) of those who are or will be saved, and those who won't ever be saved....The only thing that is causing us to have to wait for the end of this world is for the last predetermined soul to accept Christ as their personal savior...

As far as reaching the "unreachable places" such as Uganda, Africa, Asia.....there are thousands of missionaries who go to these places to preach the Message of the Gospel to these people so they, too, can have understanding of what and who God is! Believe it or not, (unfortunately) there are alot of obstacles that are caused by us (the human race) and by Satan to Hinder some of us from ever knowing and/or believing God's Word....I hope this helps! ( :
God Bless!!

That is part of a Christian's job. To teach and help other people. Of course we can't all take the time to teach people to read, but everyone has something they can do to help others.

You can believe what I am about to say or not. My pastor knew a man who was illiterate. He could not read anything and then he got saved. While he could still not read most things somehow he was able to read the Bible. No other books just the Bible.

WITH GOD

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIABLE

and it is written
"" His Word goes forth it does not return to Him void , but accomplishes what He sent it to do "

No matter whether one can read it or not
they can hear it...........

and many many NATIONS are begging for it
and many Nations are forbiding its print or its teachings
if it wasnt real , then why is everyone fighting its print , reading , teachings , and seeing it come to the people
CAUSE IT IS REAL
and GODS WORD
changes things and peoples and Nations..

jeez. well its written proof that God does exist for all the people who have to have "logic" to believe in God. who said God was logical? God has the Bible so we can read it and teach it to people who can't read it. true Christians will do what's right, you think we're all Bible beaters? nope, thats just the eccentric believers

God has given us free will, so the choice is ours. If we will choose to read it God will give us the grace to read it. But we shouldn't only read it, but also believe it.
