I enjoy running on weekend mornings. But now that it's winter, my hands get a wee bit frosty. I live in Frisco type weather, so I don't need thick running gloves. They must wick away sweat, be lightweight, really thin and should be easy to wash. Any suggestions? I believe the army store sells something, but I can't go there, cause I'm not enlisted... Thanks for all future answers...

I'm looking to hear about real gloves and not some half-baked substitutes, thanks for the answer BTW.

I use my biking gloves to run. 1 pair of cut offs for the warm weather and a full finger pair for the cold. Moisture whisking, thermal, light, thin, easy to wash. Works for me..

If you are not worried about style over substance, I go to Wal-Mart or garden stores and buy the multi-packs of cheap cotton gardening gloves. They are usually white. I think I paid 5 bucks for about 6-8 pair.

They block the wind well enough and allow me to wipe my brow. If I don't need them 1/2 way through the run, I just take them off and tuck them in my waistband.

Because they are cheap, I don't mind if I lose/drop one. They wash and wear many times before I have to trash them. They are left/right hand each, so don't have to worry about having all lefts or rights.

I have some nice gloves when the weather gets freezing cold, but don't use them for your type of weather.

I'm also miltary, and don't know if we have any great gloves in our stores.

There are some polypro gloves, but one pair costs about as much as my collection of cheap garden gloves.

Like ironjag said I normally just use a cheap cotton glove. I have also used the glove liner that is used by snow skiers.
It is slick and works well, and comes in different colors if you are going for style points.

Are you talking about ONlive and similar schemes? we don't know if it will be a success or not, as it hasn't happened yet, Onlive were in talks with Virgin about it. The problem with the UK and many countries, is that connection speed can vary from house to house which will impact gameplay. Until the Net can support it, it won't work.

Hi-tech running gloves ????????? Like they'll really make a difference in your running program..........

Nothing beats a pair of running socks pulled over your hands. They're cotton, dry as quickly as they get wet, comfortable to wipe the brow with, and multi-functional. Can't get any more hi-tech than that. 'nuff said.....
