Maddog,
I can't promise I will remember to pray for you next month. But, I will pray for you today. I try not to promise more than I think I can deliver. Our God is big enough to keep you and help you. If He reminds me of you, I will pray again. I know you need God's help every day and must have many things on your mind and heart as you get ready to deploy.
I'm sorry you have to go into harms way. Thank You, Maddog, for doing what you do, I appreciate your sacrifices and those of your family to keep me and my family safer over here. I hope your Christmas holiday is extra good and special this year.
I'll pray for your safety, your mental/physical well-being, for the protection of your loved ones and their financial situation to stay OK while you are gone.
I don't know how well you know God for yourself. My God, Jesus Christ has proven Himself strong, capable, kind and real in my life. He was a man's man and knows what you are facing. He's always listening and always cares, especially when time hangs heavy on your hands or worries hang heavy on your heart.

I just put up a note on the top of my computer to remember to pray for you and Smoker06. I will pray for his safe return and pray for your safe tour of duty. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for all you have done and will do. I hate war but I am thankful for people that love our country and will defend it. I will pray that when the night feels the darkest that you will sense God's presence with you the most. I will ask that God will use you to honor Him and that He will place a wall of protection around you. Feel free to email me if you are able and would like connection from home.
