I believe that those who celebrate Christmas are pagans.

I wouldn't say so. Some are and some aren't. Many non-Christians celebrate Christmas. Maybe they don't think about Jesus being born during this time of the year, but they decorate their houses, give/receive gifts, etc. They are also some Christians who don't celebrate Christmas because Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25. You have people from both camps that don't celebrate Christmas.

Christians celebrate Christmas because it is the birth of Jesus

For sure they are not Christians,
even if they didn't care about Jesus, they will celebrate if they are Christians.
otherwise may be they are Christians but cant afford.

No.

I'm not a believer, but my mother doesn't celebrate either, for exactly opposite reasons. Look up "origins of Christmas" on the net and you'll find that it has little to do with Christinsanity.

There's a scripture in the Bible that says; one man esteemeth a day above another......... let him do it unto the glory of the LORD..... ( Read it in Romans 14:5-6 )..... If you want to celebrate Christmas in a good and Godly way do it unto the Lord if not then do that unto the Lord. This way, either way it is unto the Lord!

Jehovah Witness's don't celebrate Christmas, but I don't think it has anything to do with not caring about Jesus.

There are many reasons not to participate in the orgy of reckless, meaningless consumerism that Christmas has become. Caring about Jesus is almost a reason NOT to celebrate it....

I used to think that, but then I learned the truth about the origins of Christmas, and decided for myself I didn't want any part of worshipping a pagan god (Mithra) rather than pretending to honor Jesus.
It just felt disrespectful and demeaning to lump lies with someone who represents truth.

Perhaps both. But I would say mostly because they aren't christians. Like me for example, I'm not a christian, I'm Muslim.
