Is it just a ride to work,do you see them a s professional? Do you expect them to be socially and religiously tolerant?

for New Yorkers it means transportation for them
no matter how they travel -car. ferry, bus, subway, or
train
MTA is there someone helping or assiting in transportation
needs of all new yorkers

We have been to NYC, 4 times and always used the subway and public buses to get around the city.
By using the pre-paid Metro Cards, we saved money and were able to see the city and the sights, without the hassel of flagging down a cab.
The employees were always helpful in giving us directions to a particular subway line and several of them actually highlighted the bus routes we needed to take.
Riding the ferry boats to and from Staten Island is free.
