Yes, alright. Evolution does teach that, as you put it, "Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people". And the Bible clearly states that leprechauns wear Hawaiian shirts.

you can't be serious right? religion has no place in the public sphere, let alone school. Look where our christian president got us. It's not science. Genesis also says that God created the universe in 6 days. Now riddle me this, how long is a day when there's no earth to turn? days on other planets can be longer or shorter. And if that's just symoblic, what keeps the rest of it from being symbolic? Is it really that much harder to believe that the universe has always existed than to believe that there is a being that's always existed? Believe what you want, but it's NOT science, is not based off observation or scientific method, and thus has no place in the classroom.

Evolution has nothing to do with guns, and the saying is: guns don't kill people, people kill people. You're the one teaching falsehoods here.

Everyday more evidence shows up in support of evolution. It's the best theory regarding the origins of life by far. That's why it's taught in schools.

Saying things like
"Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people"
is like saying
“That car didn’t hit the pedestrian its front bumper did.”
Oh and none of those statements has anything to do with evolutionary theory btw….

Eddie Izzard "
The National Rifle Association says that, "Guns don't kill people, uh, people do." But I think, I think the gun helps. You know? I think it helps. I just think just standing there going, "Bang!" That's not going to kill too many people, is it? You'd have to be really dodgy on the heart to have that."

Genesis says God made everything after it's own kind....The animals after their own kind, the plants after it's own kind , Man after his own kind and the not the kind of something else....
It's so sad that schools do not teach God's word.
Tell me this, is God so weak that he can not create a man and the man has to come from an animal? So did a rose come from a dandelion? Even flowers are made after their own kind.
Did a cat come from a dog? No.....There is the cat family and the dog family....they are all made after their own kind.
It does not take much intelligence to figure this out.

Ummm, no it doesn't. The saying is, "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." And, evolution didn't teach that.
And this is a truly absurd argument.
