In the Bible, God identifies Himself to Moses and the Israelites as "I AM THAT I AM". These are approximated by the Hebrew letters, YHWH, which has been Anglicized to Yahweh or Jehovah.
It seems to imply that God is and always was.

"I am that I am"
God does not call himself.
True GOD, essence of spirit force, has no I, me, mine.
The power is the power. To name it would be to take away from what it is.
God is not a person or entity that draws awareness to itself. (that is a human thing)
God just is, as the FORCE just is, as the spirit just is.
Take a scale or a teeter-tauter that has a balance point in the center and either side goes up and down. GOD would be the point of balance. The *nothing* spot.

God is in basic terms a call. His call is translated in many diverse languages from the tetranomicrom YHWH; Hebrew for Yahweh. God does refers to himself as "God" in many cases interior the Bible.

YHWH, which is actually unpronounceable by human tongues. We added a few vowels so that we can say it- Yahweh
