Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Churches do not teach about the kingdom. They do not even believe it is an actual real kingdom.

So how can they teach what they do not believe in.

Daniel 2:44 says that the kingdom will crush all other kingdoms so no more will man rule over man but be ruled over by a heavenly government to time indefinite.

Only Jehovah's Witnesses teach the real kingdom of God and go out to the entire world with that message.
Satan wants to crush that message of hope for mankind so not surprisingly as he is ruler of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4 & 1 John 5:19) that Satan wants to crush that message and with the power of religion he will use whatever means to try and stop that message of the kingdom being taught.

BrotherMichael is mistaken, Christ gave that command to all his followers and though yes they were Jews they were also Christians since anyone who follows Christ is a Christian.
The preaching work of the kingdom was commited by first century Christians though during the era of the great apostasy that preaching work had come to an almost full stop.

Most churches now do not even recognise the kingdom as a real tangable kingdom at all. Daniel 2:44 tells it very differently to what the churches wish to ignore.

I did a Google search regarding the message of preachers and missionaries from several faiths and not one of the sites I visited even mentioned God's Kingdom, except for one notable exception, Jehovah's Witnesses. If you were to ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses in any city, in any state, in any country in the world what the solution to man's problems is, they would all respond with the same answer: God's Kingdom. If you don't believe me, just ask the next Witness who comes to your door (or your JW neighbor or JW co-worker), "What is the solution to mankind's problems?" and see what they tell you. Without question, Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones fulfilling Matthew 24:14.

Regarding the fulfillment of Matt 24:14...

The preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses has served God's purpose to gather persons out of a false religious and our preaching has laid the basis for an expanded witness in the future.

However, Jesus also foretold that one aspect of the sign would be that Christians would be brought before governors and kings in order for a broader witness to be given under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Also, Jesus said, during that phase of the witness that "you will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death."

Have we seen that aspect of Christ's prophecy come true? Definitely not. After all, how many witnesses have you heard of that have been betrayed into death by friends and brothers in the truth? It hasn't happened anywhere to speak of.

But, Jesus definitely foretold that "many will betray one another." So, there are many aspects of Christ's prophecy that we simply have not seen yet.

First, in Matt. 24, Jesus was speaking to Jews, about Jewish things. The Church was not in existence then, nor the idea that Gentiles would be "grafted" into the covenant. The "gospel of the Kingdom" is what was preached before the New covenant, and after the Church leaves the earth and the time of salvation is finished. The Gospel we preach is Christ's death and resurrection and the work accomplished. The gospel of the kingdom will again be preached before the end, not by man, but by an angel, to the whole world.

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an everlasting gospel to proclaim to those dwelling on the earth, even to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,
Rev 14:7 saying in a great voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgment has come; also, Worship "Him who has made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea," and the springs of waters.

For people who deny the facts, here's a little experiment;

1. Dress up nice and smart. Pick up a bag that would be big enough to hold a few magazines. Carry Bible in hand.

2. Walk up to the next street, knock on one of the doors. When the door is opened, greet the householder, smile and ask "Who do you think I am?"

3. Repeat at a few more houses on different streets.

4. Next, catch a bus (or drive) to the next city, and repeat.

5. Travel to next country (provided you speak the local language)and repeat.

6. Travel to next continent (provided you speak the local language) and repeat.

7. Come back home and compare how many householders out of all assumed you were one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

In a bigger sense yes. We (Jehovah's Witnesses) do this continually all throughout our lives. Most mormons only do it for 2 or so years to get a college scholarship. Vot, LOL completely. I love it!

In 99,770 congregations, for 1,333,966,199 hours and in 236 lands by over 6 million Jehovahs Witnesses all in unity with same message.

The question is largely based on ignorance or arrogance.

I would hope it is based on ignorance of what others are doing, such as the Mormons, and various Christan groups. Surely you are not an arrogant person.

In answer to your question - NO!

aren't only 144,000 people going to heaven according to the JW's ? Makes you wonder why you would bother with spreading the message, there's already 6 000,000 of you... Thats a lot of people wasting there time....

Google the phrase Christian mission and see how many results you get. There are literally millions of non JW, non LDS missionaries out there.

Also How do you seriously hope to encourage large numbers of people to turn to God when you have such a poor reputation for badgering people in there own homes?

God bless.

EDIT>>

One more thing, remeber that there are many gifts of the spirit, not everyone is supposed to be an evangelist, some people are designated by God for other things.
