it could mean she likes you and she is nervous around you so she brings a freind for "protection"

Well she might not want a dull conversation and a friend might keep the conversation lively because she can open up to her and ask questions. Keep the convo going! Then her friend wont come anymore! It doesnt mean ANYTHING!

It either means she wants her friend there for protection and to keep thinks casual, or she wants her friend around so she can be assured of having a good time, because she doesn't think of you as a date or much fun.
