He could have. But here's a question for you, if he tells you that you are only temporary why are you still with him? If he sees you as temporary then you have no future together and you wasted 7 years of your life on him. when you could have been out there looking for someone better and who will treat you right.

Congratulations, you just pissed away 7 years of your life that you can never get back! The good news is, the buck can stop here. 7 years are gone, but that is nothing compared to the opportunities you could miss tomorrow by continuing to stay with a guy who has openly admitted that there is no kind of future in store for you as a couple. So, if I may answer your question with a question, here's the deal: why are you still with him now that you know where you stand?

don't take that tantrum from a grown man maybe a 7 year old not a boyfriend of 7 years. you deserved to be loved. everyone should be loved let him find someone else to replace you.

You really cant be sure but that's a horrible thing to say, especially to his girlfriend of 7 years. When you've both calmed down, I think you should have a talk. Good luck
