She said that we didn't have the same interests and such and broke up with me after going out for about a month. She said we were meant to be good friends not dating. However ever since she broke up with me things have been acward between us. I want to talk to her about it but I don't know what to say... I still want to be good friends with her and I want to tell her that but then it would be hard to break the acwardness. I don't want it to seem like i'm trying to get back togather with her but i want it to be close. Allthough I'm only 16, it's a complicated situation. Any suggestions or comments of what I can do will help. Thanks

i just got out of a relationship like this.
we're still in that awkward state because we tried going back out.
i know what you mean though.
if you need to before you talk to her plan out topics for things to talk about.
dont scare her by saying how much you still want to be friends.
start small and it will slowly come back.

Patience.
It's always weird after a break up.
Give it time, and she'll become your best friend....

If you do talk to her, tell her how you feel. You were together for a month so that shows that you two do know a lot about each other.

While your still young, go out with other girls.

Just give it some time. Wait it out a month or two and then talk to her about being friends. That you miss her and her friendship. You just have to do it or you may risk losing her as your friend forever. You'll never know until you try.
